Outside Sales Manager

Job Duties:

Video Insight is seeking an Outside Sales Manager for the Northern Territory Region to grow revenues, increase market share, and work to accomplish the company's objectives and goals. The candidate must be centrally located in NJ, NY or MA.

The OSM will travel up to 50% of the time throughout their territory. Candidates must have security or software sales experience and the ability to sell exclusively through a channel of dealers. They must be self-motivated with excellent multi-tasking, time management, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive market share, achieve quarterly quotas within a defined territory
  • Prospecting new customers through cold and warm lead generation
  • Develop strong relationships and identify customer needs
  • Presenting and selling Video Insight and access control solutions
  • Assist in creating RFP/ bid specifications and system design
  • Onsite survey, presenting proposals, coordinating the terms of the sale

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • 3 to 5+ years of outside sales and estimating projects
  • Security industry or software sales experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Focused and self-motivated
  • Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Effective strategic selling to dealers, end-users, and decision makers
  • Excellent time management skills a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate prospecting skills and experience in complete solution sales
