Video Insight Support | Archiver FAQ's

The Archiver helps you manage your recorded video by allowing you to move recorded files to a new location, or recompress them using Microsoft's WMV format or trim every other frame from the original file. For example, using the trim feature you can reduce the original AVI file from 10fps to 5fps. This reduces the disk space used by half allowing you to retain more history. By using the Archiver, you can maximize your storage while still retaining the ability to use the Windows Media Player to view the recorded files. The following are common questions we receive about the Archiver. If you have any other issues, please contact technical support.
