Software Upgrade Program (SUP)

The mission of the Software Upgrade Program (SUP) is to provide Video Insight customers with the mechanism to keep their Video Insight software on the most up to date versions. Customers are strongly encouraged to maintain their surveillance solutions on the most current versions so that they can take full advantage of all the new features and benefits. During the period covered by SUP, customers are entitled to receive all generally released new versions of their Video Insight software. If a customer's SUP is allowd to lapse then during that period no software upgrades will be available nor will the customers be able to purchase add-on camera licenses until a valid SUP agreement can be reached. SUP is provided free of charge for the first year following the original purchase of the Video Insight software. Subsequent years of SUP can be purchased at a discount up front at the time of the original sale or at the end of the period covered by the initial SUP. The following represents the standard MSRP of SUP.

Pricing

  • First Year of SUP -- No Charge

  • One additional year not purchased up front -- $25 per camera

  • One additional year purchased up front (total of 2 years of SUP) -- $20 per camera

  • Two additional years purchased up front (total of 3 years of SUP) -- $40 per camera

  • Three additional years purchased up front (total of 4 years of SUP) -- $55 per camera

  • Four additional years purchased up front (total of 5 years SUP) -- $70 per camera

    • If more than 60 days have passed since the SUP expiration date, there will be a charge of $50 per camera to re-establish SUP for a one year period.
