For even greater access, the Video Insight Server automatically creates a web site that can be viewed from any web browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox. The Web Client has all the basic functionality of the Network Client without having to load any software, plug-in or ActiveX control. This is very useful if your organization has restrictions about loading applications or is using other browsers. You can view analog and IP security cameras from multiple video servers at the same time and view recorded surveillance video from any of the surveillance cameras. You can control PTZ cameras online, view facilities maps, view up to 32 security cameras from multiple video servers in a single window. The system supports multiple users and is tightly integrated into the Windows operating system for complete security and by utilizing Video Insight's user manager, you can restrict users from viewing specific cameras, control PTZ's and restrict their ability to play recorded files. Our Web Client uses Microsoft's Internet Information Servers (IIS) to create the web site and allows us to take advantage of it's stability, and flexibility. You can change the port or take advantage of Dynamic or Static IP addresses.
There are two main sections of the screen: the viewing panel which can be customized to view up to 32 cameras and the Left Navigation Tree which can be used to navigate from camera to camera and to view recorded files.
Viewing Panel
The viewing panel can be configured to show from one to 32 cameras in various configurations. The layout buttons at the top of the viewing panel allow you to control the number of cameras displayed. Click on the 4 camera grid and it displays the first four cameras.
Click on the desired layout icon, and the viewing panel changes to reflect the new viewing configuration.
Also at the top of the viewing panel are buttons to Save the current picture, print the current picture, show the view in full screen mode, and open the user manual.
Left Navigation
The tree shows the servers that can be viewed (in this case, the Main office server and the IP Server) as well as any facility maps that have been created, and, the option to see the viewing pane in full screen mode (navigation tree not showing).
Facility Map
By selecting the Facility Map option, the viewing panel will then show the default facility map for the web client.

By selecting Full Screen, the left navigation bar is hidden.
Servers
By expanding one of the servers (Main Office), the list of cameras is displayed, as well as the Event Log for this server.
Live View
To display the camera in the viewing panel, check the box next to the camera name. You may check as many cameras in each server as required.
Recorded Video by Camera
To review recorded video, expand the view by clicking on the "+" next to the camera. The list of days appears. These can be further expanded to show the recorded files for that camera.
Once a recorded file is selected, the standard playback view appears in the viewing panel.
Event Log
When the Event Log for a particular server is expanded, the list of cameras for that server appears.
By clicking on the cameras, the list of motion events for that camera appear.
When an entry is selected, that clip plays in the viewing pane.
PTZ Control
You can control a Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera from the web by clicking on the camera. The following control will display under the camera
Move the PTZ with the controls or select the preset location.
Web with Facilities Map
When you select the Facility Map from the left navigation tree, the web client will automatically display the map with icons representing each individual camera. If the user clicks on the icon, it will take them to the corresponding camera. This feature requires no setup and will display whenever a facility map has been loaded on the server.
Click on the camera icon to view video for that camera.
Multi-layered Facility Maps
Facility Maps can be multi-layered and you can navigate between the layers.
