Products | Network Client

If you have users that need access to live or recorded video, you can give them rights to use the Network Client. It has all the same functionality as the user interface of the server with the benefit of being able to connect to multiple servers at the same time. The layout buttons can be pre-configured to be associated with specific cameras. You can view the motion log, control PTZ cameras or listen to audio recorded from the server. In addition, you can manage server settings including frame rates and image sizes. The Network Client allows you to install the Video Insight Server in a wiring closet or computer room while having complete control at your desktop.

Network Client Overview

Central Monitoring

Central Monitoring

The Network Client supports multiple monitors running on the same PC. This flexibility allows you to display up to 48 cameras on a single system by utilizing 2 or 3 monitors. For example, you can setup one instance on one monitor in a full screen mode, another instance in a playback mode and then a third instance showing the facility map.

The user interface of the Network Client is exactly the same as the user interface for the server. Both use the same navigation tree, the same tool bars and the same File, View, Tools and Help pull down menus.

Network Client Interface

There are three main sections of the screen:

  • Viewing Panel which can be customized to view up to 32 cameras
  • Left Navigation tree structure which can be used to navigate from camera to camera and to view recorded files.
  • Tool Bar which provides convenient access to commonly used tools
