Integrators | Cooperative Marketing Programs

Video Insight is pleased to provide co-operative marketing programs to assist our premium dealers. These co-operative marketing programs consist primarily of the reimbursement (in the form of an account credit) of approved advertising expenses incurred by premium dealers in the marketing of Video Insight products. The following describes the process:

  1. Premium dealers will develop an advertising campaign. The campaign can consist of direct mail, print media advertising, Google keyword campaigns, or other advertisements as appropriate.
  2. Premium dealers must submit a description of the campaign, the ad copy/ images as well as estimated costs to Video Insight for approval.
  3. Once the campaign has been approved, the premium dealer can execute the campaign.
  4. Video Insight will credit marketing expenses as follows:
    • Up to 50% of the cost of each approved marketing campaign. (Assumes that Video Insight products represent 100% of the products being advertised)
    • Video Insight reserves the right to disallow advertising venues that have not been successful in the past.
    • Total Video Insight credit will not exceed 10% of the value of the dealer's sales of Video Insight products for the last 6 months. If the value of the dealer's sales is less than $10,000, then Video Insight will credit premium dealers up to $1,000 for advertising expenses.
    • Cooperative marketing funds must be consumed within a six month period of establishing funds.
    • The dealer must submit copies of invoices of advertising expenses to obtain credits.
    • Payments will be made in the form of account credit for purchases of Video Insight product.
    • Video Insight must be provided visibility to the success and/or failure rates associated with campaigns.

Example:

  • Dealer develops a print advertising campaign with a total cost of $5,000. The dealer submits the cost estimate as well as the ad copy and images to Video Insight for approval.
  • Video Insight determines the maximum credit for the advertising campaign. For example, the dealer has sold $20,000 worth of Video Insight products in the last six months. Therefore, the total amount than can be credited is $2,000 (10% of $20,000). The total cost of the campaign is $5,000. Video Insight's share would be the lesser of $2,500 (1/2 of $5,000) or $2,000 (10% of $20,000).
  • Video Insight approves the ad campaign and informs dealer.
  • Dealer submits appropriate advertising invoices showing a cost of $5,000.
  • Video Insight credits the dealer's account for $2,000.
